"My bike saved my life. Several years ago I was in a bad place and desperately needed a new lease on life. I took a trip on my BMW GS 1200 to Mozambique all by myself. I crashed on a dirt road in the middle of the night trying to find Barra Lodge near Inhambane. I got harassed by police, lost my top box, with all my clothes in, off the back of the bike due to of vicious potholes, rode a horse at sunset in the waves, and amidst all this excitement and drama, I found myself again. My bike is my therapist – she introduced me back to Mom Nature who is my biggest source of inspiration The solitude in my helmet and the wind on my body gives me the same awesome satisfaction I feel when I am on stage entertaining a great audience. The late Mr Rob Barnes, former Marketing Manager of BMW Motorrad, noticed this emerging passion in me and I am now enjoying my 3rd year as a Brand Ambassador for Motorrad. Thank you Mr Barnes, we miss you terribly. So, I ride to most of the gigs, put bikes and banners on as many of our stages as possible and harass my manager (Ingrid Botha) into giving me time off so I can ride! Clint's love for boxing and his friendship with top boxing aficionado, Uncle Jeff Ellis, has lead the band to perform at several big boxing events at Emperor's Palace. Clint & Co. have played numerous top boxers to and from the ring - not something many bands have had the opportunity to do! What a band!
